The first Canadian mentoring program for teens to give them a jump start in their career in fashion!
After guiding countless teens embark on their journey into some of the world's best fashion schools, the SBIG team is taking it a step further by giving their students the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship and fashion design by launching an in-house clothing label. Featuring clothing for teens designed by teens, the SBIG clothing line will exclusively carry merchandise of the work made by the student label designer.
Students of SBIG can apply as a designer each year for the chance to contribute to the collection. Carefully chosen by a panel of judges, the selected studetns will learn from SBIG how to start his/her own clollection. Benefiting from one-on-one mentorship with an array of qualified and experienced industry professionals, students will learn how the design process works, how to market their collection, and even how to present and sell to buyers.
